Renewal in the Management Board at the FNF Facility @ IOM

We are pleased to announce a renewal in the Management Board of the FNF Facility. Dr. Daniele Ercolani has joined the board, taking over from Dr. Dan Cojoc. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dan for his invaluable contributions over the years, and we warmly welcome Daniele to his new role. We look forward to continuing to grow and improve our Facility together.

Daniele brings with him a solid background in physics and nanofabrication. After earning his B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Trieste in 2003, he comercolani.jpgpleted his Ph.D. at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. In 2007, he joined the NEST Laboratory at Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa as a research engineer. There, he initially focused on III-V nanowire growth via Chemical Beam Epitaxy (CBE), and later managed the NEST cleanroom. In 2024, Daniele joined CNR-IOM in Trieste as a technologist.

We are excited to start this new chapter and confident that Daniele’s expertise will be a great asset to the FNF Facility.
